Three Books I Love

3. Harry Potter. These books are going to have to be grouped altogether for one category. I love the sacrificial hero and the mystery elements throughout all the books until the very end.

2. Princess Academy. It's such an out-of-the-box book that rings with lyrical words and beautiful details. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. I gave this one to my niece and it immediately became one of her favorites.

1. Pride and Prejudice. Call me cliche but I can't help it, I LOVE this book. We've had an ongoing thing since high school. I probably read it once a year. That's love people.

What books do you love?

  1. Well I have to agree with your love of Harry Potter for sure : ] Pride and Prejudice didn't hook me the first time around--but it's possible it's because it was homework. I should probably try it again sometime... Other than HP I can't really choose any books. I always love them all by the time I'm finished reading them--it would be too difficult to choose. But I do gravitate toward fantasy and fiction more than anything else : ]

  2. I love Harry Potter, too. I've been rereading them by reading them to my kids for almost a year now--we're halfway through the last book.

I haven't read Princess Academy, but it sounds vaguely familiar...I think I'm going to have to check it out now!

  3. Hmm...how many people in the blogfest chose Harry Potter? Three, I guess. It is a great series, but I didn't put it in my list for the sake of variety.

  6. I don't know "Princess Academy" but I love "Pride and Prejudice," and especially am taken with "Persuasion." The latter is my favorite Jane Austen book.

  7. I've read a couple of the Harry Potter books, but because it was after I had seen the films, the books didn't do much for me.

Pride and Prejudice is on my TBR pile already. There just don't seem to be enough hours in the day. Thanks for sharing.

  10. Confession: I prefer the A&E production of P&P to the book itself. Blasphemy, I know.
