My Dad had a marker birthday this year and instead of a big party, he wanted a weekend with all his kids and grandkids. So Mom rented a lake house and we spent the weekend playing games, reminiscing and pontoon-ing around the lake. The kids, along with my sister and Dad, were the only ones brave enough to enter the water--it was COLD! We had the best time hanging out and just soaking each other up! *happy sigh* It ended a too quickly.
