Hats and Such

Sweater and earrings: Gifts
Shirt: Thrift
Hat and jeans: Target (clearance)
Shoes: Plato's Closet

Haven't done an outfit post in a few weeks. I don't claim to be a fashion blogger, but posting what I wear applies the pressure I need to stay out of sloppy options. I didn't get a chance to wear this hat as much as I wanted during the winter season, so I've worn it few times this spring. These shoes are extra comfy and I think the gold detail provides a fun contrast.

Don't let the watering can fool you, I have a black thumb. Trying to be optimistic though, I'm planting some herbs. The plant that's stayed with me the longest is the artificial fern hanging on my front porch. Ha. A mama bird nests there now with her babies. I love watching them while I paint.

you sound a bit like me when it comes to gardening
however I have a garden which has easy to grow plants in it
and my herbs are part of it and are very happy

    1. I love purple and when I saw this hat on clearance I had to get it! Easy-to-grow plants? Sorry, can't compute. ;)

  3. Very cute Catherine, love those shoes! I have a black thumb too. Most of the time in the spring I'm just trying to unbury the plants I bought the year before so they can breathe.

    1. I love them so much! Probably wear them too often, but I don't care. Shoes are meant to be worn, no?

    1. Thanks! Me too, and they're light enough to wear all day. They were a sweet gift and I love them.
