Thankful Thursday

Last night, it sleeted and snowed long enough to give us a good covering this morning.  And I am thankful because today is our first snow day of the year!!!  My kids are home wrapped in blankets.  I'm loving the slow, long morning and looking forward to board games, books, hot chocolate and snuggles.

What are you thankful for today?

  1. How fun ... enjoy that hot cocoa! :-)
I'm thankful for a riot of a fundraiser my kids are participating in today ... the annual Hoop-a-Thon, where they find sponsors and shoot baskets to raise money for the school - - you should see the smiles on their faces!! I'm also thankful for a quiet workday! :-)

  2. I'm thankful that I actually found some motivation to write today and that it's not snowing where I am right now!!

  3. Kelly H-Y, How fun! I hope the fundraiser goes awesome and you get lots of work done on your quiet day!

SY, YAY!! Hope you get lots of pages written.

  4. I'm thankful for getting out of class early :) and the hope of getting a snow day or at least a 2 hr delay tomorrow :)

  5. Thankful for beautiful white snow and time inside with family. Thankful for Hubby's safe flight back! Thankful for seam rippers and chats with sweetest sister!

  6. I'm thankful that I'm getting inspiration to continue revisions.
Hope you had a great day!

  7. I wish I could have had a day like that. I'm thankful for the mama's boy currently draped across my lap. :-)

  8. Bethany, I hope you got your snow day!! We got another one.
    Heartsjoy, me too!!
Christine, yes, keep up with those revisions. I've been dreaming about your book and I need resolution. heehee
Shannon, awwww so sweet! Hope you get a day like this soon. :D

  9. We missed Thursday and Friday too. I think it was a gift. My oldest wasn't feeling so well and was going to miss Thursday anyway. :) He had plenty of chance to rest.

I did feel like a hot chocolate factory though...

Thank you so much for your visit. I love hearing from you and dearly appreciate your comment!
